Elf on the Shelf: Day 5

Buddy was very busy last night! 

He threw a party for Grant's Cars. 

With the help of Mickey Mouse, 

the cars were out of their bucket and

in line for a ride down the slide...

Lightening McQueen got in on the fun, too!

He helped the cars get up to the slide... 

What a fun party!

Buddy was watching the whole thing...

it was his idea after all!

Looks like Buddy has another note for Grant...

Probably because Grant was sick and unable 

to make something sweet so he still has his plane! 

Mommy Willis was able to get these 

pictures in the middle of the night....

she was wide awake until 4AM....

But, only 3 short hours later when she woke up..... 

This is what she found!

Grant had woke up in the morning and just put it all away!

Her disappointment coupled with her lack of sleep

caused a little bit of a meltdown....

Yes. Mommy Willis cried when she found out 

Grant had just picked it all up and put it back in his room...

He showed me that he picked all 

his toys up and put them away....

He was really proud of himself!

He said when he saw the cars he laughed... 

this is him showing me him laughing!

This is how he looked when I asked him why he put it away

and didn't wait for Mommy and Daddy to see it! 

Mommy Willis felt bad she didn't 

get to see his reaction.....

Lil' Willis felt bad he put it away...

Daddy Willis felt bad that this 

conversation was disturbing his sleep...

Tiny Willis felt bad that she 

didn't get to wrestle Mickey Mouse....

Buddy felt bad because he

 didn't have any cookies!!!!!

... But, Mickey Mouse makes everything better!

...Finally Lil' Willis found his elf....

We read the note, which said... 

"You didn't make me anything sweet!

No Cookies! No Brownies! I'm so sad!

But, I heard you were sick 

so I'll give you one more day!

Please!!!!

Be a good boy!!!

You can't see from the picture...

but the plane is on top of the cedar chest, too. 

Buddy is still holding it ransom. 

He really wants something sweet...

We'll have to take care of that for him today...

1 batch of Homemade brownies coming up!!
